... DmC would include the classic Dante? I had that idea to recreate the DmC cover (Ps3 version obviously) using the 'original' Dante and a different background/text style - so basically changing almost everything about it. Oh well... Hope you like it!
(Yes, this is DMC2 Dante and yes, i know this game sucks BUT i think his outfit acctually looks pretty fitting.)

Nope. Still wouldn't even go near the game even if the real Dante were to show up. Which is funny since they announced that he would be DLC as to somehow sucker the same fans they insulted. Pot mettle Kettle

Everyone knows that this Dante was really in Shin Megami Tensei Nocturne and hired some mute to cover his ass in DMC2.

Yeah the game and Dante were a bit dull from what I've played so far... :/
But the game was set when he was older so I'm just guessing he lost his goof ball self :shrug:

To me it doesn't just seem as if Dante had matured with age, it felt more like he had no personality at all in this game. In all the cutscenes he was always just… standing around and remaining silent. They gave him this habit of flipping a coin to make decisions which seems like a Two-Face ripoff that is totally out-of-character for Dante.
I never played DMC2 past mission 6 because of how unpolished and easy the gameplay was and the story was not engaging at all. But if you ever beat the game, please tell me if there was anything good about it that I missed.

I really liked 2...chronologically speaking, DMC2 features the oldest version of Dante which would explain his lack of smartass remarks (for the most part).
